ADSL, WiMAX, and FTTH are the internet technologies for home broadband in Nepal, that are provided by Nepal Telecom (NTC). Before any of the private ISPs mushroomed like today, they were the only means of internet in most of the areas. The demand for ADSL and WiMAX has gone down but there is a huge demand for Ntc FTTH (fiber internet). People using ADSL, WiMAX, and FTTH keep on expressing their difficulty to query the volume usage and the expiry date.
Recently, Ntc had upgraded the billing system of both the technologies to Convergence one. That means both of the technologies are integrated with this new billing system. After the billing upgrade, the procedure to check ADSL, WiMAX, and fiber internet data volume and expiry are changed. Now the customers don’t have to worry about it, with the new method. In this post, we will provide you the detailed procedure for this.
There are two procedures to know or find the data volume and expiry date.
Self Care login
Ntc has provided a self-care portal to see the used volume and more.
Go to the Self-care portal, Create a UserID and password for the login. (NTC has brought a new Selfcare portal for this, So the old portal doesn’t work now).
Click Register inside the portal page
Put your email ID or phone number and click get code for Activation.
You will instantly get the code on your mobile. Put the code in the activation box below.
Put your comfortable password, confirm again. Also, put the verification code for the picture shown on the side.
You will get a confirmation for the formation of a login ID.
Enter the login details in the portal and bind your ADSL, WiMax service ID
Login to the portal by using the same username and password put before.
Choose User Type: Prepaid for volume-based, unlimited ADSL or WiMAX.
Either you already have User ID(like ***firstname.lastname@example.org for WiMAX or NTADSL01*****) and service password or you have to take it from the Ntc counter. Put the service ID and password in it and Click Submit
Now, You can see data volume, expiry date, Recharge, Package change, and more in My Account.
The ADSL and WiMAX services are not included in the new Self-care portal which will take time to be integrated as known.
