Redmi, the sub-brand of Xiaomi seems to be the brand that is launching more smartphones than any other brand right now. To give continuity to its huge number of the product lineup, they have unveiled their another smartphone series – Redmi 10X series. The 10X series introduces Redmi 10X and Redmi 10X Pro in China. These smartphones come with 5G connectivity and are powered by newer MediaTek Dimensity 820 chipset.
Redmi has also launched Redmi 10X 4G variant which is basically a rebranded Redmi Note 9 for the Chinese market. The company launched all these phones are highly competitive market prices which aim to grow their ever-growing mid-range market.
The first phone in Redmi 10X series in 10X 5G. The phone comes with a 6.57-inch full-HD+ display with a resolution of 1,080 x 2,400 pixels. It has also support for HDR10+ which is a great bonus in a mid-range offering. The phone is powered by MediaTek’s new 5G chipset, MediaTek Density 820 based on the Octa-core process and 7 nm technology. It is coupled with up to 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB of storage.
10X 5G runs on MIUI 12 on top of Android 10. As far as cameras are concerned, the smartphone packs great triple camera setup at the rear and features a 16 MP front camera for selfies. At the rear, there is a 48MP primary shooter along with 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens. To support these two cameras there is another 5MP macro camera. The smartphone ships with a decent 4,2520 mAh battery which is expected to last for more than a day and it is refilled by a 22.5W fast charger.
Redmi 10X Pro 5G phone features a 6.57-inch Full HD+ display with support for HDR10+. 10X Pro 5G runs on MediaTek Dimensity 820 SoC which is based on a 7nm platform. On the OS department, the phone has a similar MIUI 12 based on Android 10.
The Redmi Pro variant features a quad-camera setup at the back along with a 20MP selfie camera. The rear camera setup comprises of a 48 MP primary sensor, an 8 MP telephoto lens, an 8 MP ultra-wide-angle lens and a 5 MP macro lens. The phone packs a bigger 4,520 mAh battery that supports 33W fast charging capability.
Regarding the 5G network, the phone supports bands like 1, 3, 41, 78, 79, and that also in NSA and SA mode. China has a 5G network in band 78 and it is also popular globally, so we can expect the phone to go well in China and global for those 5G fanatics.
Redmi has launched these phones in China for now. The 10X 5G comes with four variants in terms of storage and RAM. It offers a lot of options to choose from its abundant variants of – 6/64GB which is priced at CNY 1,599, 6/128GB variant priced at CNY 1,799, 8/128GB priced at CNY 2,099 and the highest variant of 8/256GB priced at CNY 2,399.
The price of Redmi 10X 5G in Nepal can be expected at Rs. 27,500, 31,000, 36,000, and 41000 for the respective variants. With this pricing, we can find phones like Vivo S1 Pro, Galaxy M30s, Honor 9X, Oppo A9 (2020), etc in Nepal.

Furthermore, Pro 5G variant is available in two storage variants of 8 GB RAM + 128 GB storage and 8GB RAM + 256GB storage variant. They are priced at CNY 2,299 and CNY 2,599 respectively. The price of Redmi 10X Pro 5G in Nepal can be expected for Rs. 39,500 and 44,500 for the respective variants. The phone is expected to compete with phones like Realme X2, Galaxy A71, Redmi K20, and others.

Xiaomi to launch Mi 10 5G and Mi Note 10 lite in Nepal. The announcement or launch is likely in a matter of a few days.
Both these smartphones of the Redmi 10X series are available in four color variants of blue, pink, gold, and white color options. The Redmi 10X 5G and 10X Pro 5G will go live for the sale on 1st June and 5th June respectively in China. As far as the availability of phones in Nepal is concerned, the phones are expected to arrive after the lockdown or during the month of August.
