Nepal Telecom (NTC) has expanded its 4G network to Triveni Rural Municipality- 6 in West Rukum, Karnali. The company started 4G and 2G services on Wednesday, September 25, 2025. The launch of fourth-generation cellular services unlocks mobile broadband, high-quality voice, and other benefits.
The company’s deputy manager, Madhu Sudan Dahal, shared that the company officially started 4G and 2G services in the remote local region in the Karnali province. The expansion is part of the government-backed telecom company’s effort to achieve blanket 4G coverage, which could be possible within 2082.
The launch of Ntc 4G in Triveni Rural Municipality covers all the wards, including Muru, Kural, Khumcheri, Jibang, etc. At the same time, the signals also become available for trekkers who come from within and out of the country for adventure in the remote Nepali region.

Ntc 4G in Triveni Rural Municipality benefits locals and tourists both
Recently, the company extended 4G in various localities inside Manang. The latest reach to Triveni Rural Municipality- 6 in West Rukum highlights the company’s goal of providing modern and reliable services in remote and rural areas. Now, the locals, as well as the tourists, can access 4G data on their devices and connect with their family and friends in Nepal and beyond. At the same time, users can activate Ntc VoLTE service to get HD voice service.
The company maintains that it’s committed to providing advanced communications services in all parts of the country, even if it sees low financial returns. It sees service expansion and upgrade works as a responsibility, being a national telecom company.
