WorldLink has integrated artificial intelligence (AI) into its customer service. The company has over a million customers across Nepal, and AI will help it provide automated, more efficient, and customer-centric services.

The private ISP has entered a partnership agreement with Ting Ting for an AI telephony system to provide AI-enabled customer service. The partnership aims to communicate one-way information to WorldLink customers, mainly.

Previously, WorldLink introduced AI chatbot to address customer queries. But now, the company has integrated a whole suite of AI system to connect with it’s large customer base.

WorldLink AI to provide customer services

WorldLink will use AI to feed customers with one-way information. This includes and is not limited to information regarding subscription renewal, repair and maintenance, new offers, etc. The company will use Ting Ting’s advanced telephony system to disseminate vital information to its customers. It will also save overhead costs for the company and better optimize resources.

WorldLink says that its automated customer service allows it to provide services specific to the customers in and timely manner. The AI-powered service will inform users about their bill payment, subscription expiry date, updates regarding issues, and more.

For companies with lakhs of customers, reaching out to all has become a challenge. But it’s also equally important to address every customer’s problems. Therefore, AI-backed customer service may serve as a perfect solution for a large ISP like WorldLink. The scenario has been phrased by the company’s senior engineering manager, Pujan Piya.

He said that connecting with millions of customers personally is a challenge. But he shared that Ting Ting’s AI will give a solution to combat this. “This technology will make our communication processes more efficient and powerful, which will directly benefit our customers,” he said.

Likewise, Ting Ting Chief Business Officer Sojan Prajapati has stressed the value of WorldLink collaboration. He said that cooperating with WorldLink has added a new dimension to Nepal’s technology industry. “This will inspire other large organizations to adopt local AI solutions,” he added.

WorldLink is Nepal’s largest ISP in terms of its customer base which has grown past 1 million (10 lakh). Now, it focuses on expanding services in more remote and rural regions and continue to provide modern and reliable services.
