Samsung, the biggest smartphone brand in the world, is pushing hard to create an impact in the entry-level and mid-range segments. It seems like the brand is ready to dominate the entry-level segment with the new Samsung Galaxy M01s. The brand has finally launched the new smartphone Samsung Galaxy M01s in Nepal. Samsung M01s is the upgraded version of Samsung M01 that was launched a few months earlier. The smartphone arrives with impressive features & tweaks over its predecessor on it. Now, let us see more in detail about the specs, price & availability of the device in Nepal below.
Samsung Galaxy M01s comes with a very sleek & slim design that makes it very attractive. It has a polycarbonate body. The smartphone boasts a 6.2-inch HD+ PLS TFT LCD display with a resolution of 720 x 1520 pixels. It comes with an aspect ratio of 19:09, and a screen-to-body ratio of 81.8%. The Infinity-V notch houses a front camera at the top. The device also has a fingerprint scanner and face unlock for security.
Now coming to the camera department of Samsung M01s, it comes with a dual-camera setup. It consists of a 13MP primary camera along with f/1.8 aperture and a 2MP depth sensor with f/2.4 aperture. It also has a LED flash and Digital Zoom up to 4x.
At the front, it features an 8MP selfie snapper along with an f/2.0 aperture that snaps a beautiful selfie. The smartphone can do video recording at FHD (1920 x 1080)@30fps.

Samsung Galaxy M01s comes powered by MediaTek Helio P22 chipset. It is coupled with 3GB of RAM along with internal storage of 32GB that is expandable up to 512GB via a dedicated MicroSD card slot.
At the software front, Samsung Galaxy M01s runs on One UI Core-based Android 9 Pie Operating System. This is pretty disappointing as now more updated software is used even in an entry-level device.

The smartphone comes with a 4,000mAh non-removable battery along with the 10W charging support. It might be a little disappointing as the contemporary devices come with a little more battery prowess.
Talking about the connectivity of the device it features a Dual SIM slot, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n 2.4GHz, microSD card, MicroUSB, 3.5mm audio jack, GPS/Glonass/Beidou/Galileo, Bluetooth v4.2, and 4G VoLTE.
Samsung Galaxy M01s costs only Rs. 15,999 in Nepal. The smartphone is available for purchase all over Nepal in official Samsung stores and other various retail shops. The Samsung Galaxy M01s is available in two color variants such as light blue, and grey. The smartphone will be competing with the likes of Realme Narzo 10A, Xiaomi Redmi 8A Dual, Realme C11, Oppo A12, etc. in the entry-level segment.
