Summary✨

  • Samsung Galaxy S26 and S26+ are now available for pre-booking in Nepal, featuring design upgrades and enhanced performance.
  • Both models use the Exynos 2600 chipset and come with 12 GB of RAM and storage options of 256/512 GB.

Samsung has made Galaxy S26 and Galaxy S26+ open for pre-booking in Nepal, which are the two standard models in the Galaxy S26 series. The lineups come with some noticeable design changes and a major hardware upgrade underneath. The phones were launched alongside the top-tier Galaxy S26 Ultra and succeed the S25 and S25+ phones, and are some of the best phones to buy in 2026. We have more details below.

Samsung Galaxy S26 Plus and S26 Overview

Design and Display

Samsung Galaxy S26 Plus and S26 are nearly identical in design. They have curves in the corners and come witha matte finish. The most noticeable change in the design is the raised camera module on the rear. They do miss out on the ‘privacy display’ feature Galaxy S26 Ultra has, which is what everyone is talking about. The Plus variant weighs 190 grams, while the base model weighs a stunningly light 167 grams.

Samsung Galaxy S26 Plus design

The S26 Plus features a larger screen, a 6.7-inch Dynamic LTPO AMOLED 2X display, while the base variant features a 6.3-inch panel. Both share the same display technology. Talking of similarities, both panels also come with a 120 Hz refresh rate and up to 2600 nits of peak brightness.

Performance and memory

The Galaxy S26 Plus and Galaxy S26 run on Exynos 2600 (2nm) inside. The chipset-level improvement is perhaps the biggest noticeable change from the previous S25 Plus and S25 models.

In terms of memory, both models come with 12 GB of RAM and 256/512 GB of storage. They boot on One UI 8.5 based on Android 16 and will receive 7 years of major OS upgrades.

Camera

The S26 Plus and S26 feature a triple-camera setup. It’s headed by a 50 MP wide camera with OIS, and supported by a 10 MP telephoto with 3X zoom, and a 12 MP ultrawide camera. The back optics can record videos at 8K at 24/30 fps.

The front keeps a 12 MP selfie unit, which is also similar to the top-end S26 Ultra mode. The selfie camera allows 4K video recording at up to 30/60 fps. The cameras come with improved Nightography, capturing more shadows and highlights. The AI feature lets you edit a photo with your voice, while there are improved features all across for enhanced image editing.

Battery, Connectivity, and Other Features

The Galaxy S26 features a 4900mAh battery with 45W wired, 25W wireless, and 4.5W reverse wireless charging. Samsung claims that it gets 69% of charge in 30 minutes. The Galaxy S2,6 on the other hand, comes with a 4300mAh battery with 25w wired, 15w wireless, and 4.5W reverse wireless charging support. The company claims that it can be juiced up 55% in 30 minutes. The entire Galaxy S26 series doesn’t cross the 5,000mAh battery mark; however, the company compensates for that with fast-charging and optimization for battery efficiency.

S26+ features WiFi 7, Bluetooth 6.0, GPS, and USB Type-C 3.2, while it’s the same as S26, its Bluetooth version is 5.4. There’s no infrared port on these models. Other features include an under-display fingerprint sensor, Samsung DeX support, OTG, etc.
