Vivo has launched the X300 Pro and X300 smartphones in China. The latest flagship phones are successors to the vivo X200 series phones and come with improved camera, battery, and faster processor. Let’s explore more about these super-popular camera-centric phones.
vivo X300 Pro Specifications and Features
Vivo X300 Pro and X300 come with a circular camera island on the back. Both use aluminum alloy for frames and glass in the front and the back. Both also have the same thickness of 8 mm. But while the X300 Pro weighs 226 grams, the standard model X300 weighs only 190 grams. That’s also because the junior sibling has a 6.31-inch AMOLED screen. The vivo X300 Pro features a 6.78-inch LTPO AMOLED screen. Both devices sport a 120Hz refresh rate, though.

Performance
Vivo has powered both the X300 Pro and X300 with MediaTek’s flagship Dimensity 9500 chipset (3nm). It runs to 4.21 GHz. The storage starts at 256 GB and reaches 1 TB at the max. There are 12 GB and 16 GB of RAM to choose from on both phones.
Cameras
Vivo X300 Pro features a triple-camera setup. It has a 50-megapixel Sony LYT-828 main sensor, a 200 MP periscope telephoto with 3.7x optical zoom, and a 50 MP ultrawide camera. The Zeiss-backed camera setup comes with an optional accessory of a 2.35x telephoto teleconverter. The optical system comes with V3+ and Vs1 imaging chips for post-processing and pre-processing. The front has a 50 MP selfie shooter, an improvement as the vivo X200 Pro had a 32 MP unit on the front.
vivo X300 also boasts three cameras on the back. It’s got a 200 MP main sensor with OIS, 50 MP periscope telephoto, and a 50 MP ultrawide shooter. The front shares the same-capacity 50 MP selfie camera. The Pro model can shoot 8K videos, while the standard variant can record 4K videos at max.
Battery, Connectivity, and Other Features
vivo X300 Pro includes a Si/C Li-Ion 6510mAh battery, larger by 510mAh from its predecessor X200 Pro. And while the wired 90W charging has been the same, wireless charging capacity has been increased to 40W from 30W. It also supports reverse wireless and reverse wired. The standard X300 shares similar charging specs, but it comes with a smaller battery at 6040mAh.

For connectivity, both support WiFi 7, NFC, Bluetooth 5.4, and feature an infrared port too. For security, both devices are equipped with an under-display ultrasonic fingerprint sensor. These phones boot on Funtouch 16 based on Android 16 and will receive up to 4 major OS upgrades.
