NTC (Nepal Telecom) data users have crossed the 1 crore (10 million) milestone. As per the MIS report, the company reached 1 crore 1 lakh and 54 thousand users (10154000 in numbers) for its internet services. This shows the huge customer base of Ntc for data. Among the total Ntc customer base, the percentage of data users is around 50.
The total number of data users mainly comprises GSM (2G, 3G, 4G) data users, CDMA data users, WiMAX, and ADSL. Here is the distribution of total data users for different Nepal Telecom services/technologies.
- Ntc GSM data users: 97,95100
- Ntc CDMA data users: 1,36,500
- WiMAX users: 17000 (now discontinued)
- ADSL users: 1,99700
The total customer base for data in Ashad 2074 was 84,25894. Now this number in 2074 Chaitra has reached 10154000. NTC says their customer base for data increased by 20.54 percent in these nine months of the current FY.
As included in the MIS report (2074 Chaitra), Ntc 4G users stand at 5,59172 (5 lakh, 59 thousand, 1 hundred and 72) around Nepal.
Until the end of Chaitra 2074, the total service users is nearly 2 crore ( to be exact 193,22855). This includes 1 crore 69 lakhs 44 thousand, 5 hundred 39 from GSM service alone. NTC CDMA users include 16,88,351 and PSTN landline users include 6,89,373 in numbers.
