Realme 9 Pro Overview
Realme 9 Pro is the successor to the Realme 8 Pro that was launched last year. The phone launched alongside its sibling Realme 9 Pro Plus. The smartphone arrives with spectacular specs like a 120Hz display, snapdragon 695 5G SoC, 16 MP selfie camera, 5000mAh battery, 33W fast charging, and more.
Design/Display
Taking off with the design of the Realme 9 Pro, the smartphone comes with an all-new Light Shift Design that changes color from light blue to red when exposed to sunlight. The Realme 9 Pro is very thin at just 8.5 mm and weighs just only 195 grams. It also has a punch-hole cutout at the front that houses the selfie camera. The smartphone comes in different color variants such as Sunrise Blue, Midnight Black, and Aurora Green.
The Realme 9 Pro flexes an enormous 6.6 inches Full HD+ IPS LCD Display panel along with a screen resolution of 2412 x 1080 pixels. It also comes with a support of a higher 120 Hz refresh rate, 240 Hz touch sampling rate, an aspect ratio of 20:9, 90.8% screen-to-body ratio, and 400 PPI density. The phone comes with six different refresh rates. For biometrics, it features a side-mounted fingerprint sensor and Ai Face Unlock.
Camera
As for the optical features of the smartphone, the phone arrives with a triple camera setup at the rear. The Realme 9 Pro sports a 64 MP primary sensor with f/1.79 aperture, an 8 MP Ultra-wide-angle camera with 119° Field Of View & f/1.2 aperture, and a 2 MP macro lens with f/2.4 aperture. Whereas on the front, the Realme 9 Pro houses a 16MP In-display Selfie camera with f/2.05 aperture to snap gorgeous selfies.
Moving on to the videography aspect of the smartphone, the rear cameras are capable of recording videos up to 1080p@30fps. Likewise, the front camera also records videos up to 1080p@30fps. The smartphone comes with various camera features such as Night Mode, Panoramic view, Expert, Portrait Mode, HDR, Ultra-wide, AI Scene Recognition, AI Beauty, Filter, Bokeh Effect Control, Starry Mode, etc.
Snapdragon 695 5G SoC
Under the hood, the Realme 9 Pro is equipped with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 5G processor which also runs phones like Redmi Note 11 Pro, & the Vivo T1 5G. It is an octa-core processor based on 6 nm processing technology that is equipped with an octa-core CPU with a maximum clock speed of up to 2.2 GHz. As for graphics, it has a powerful Adreno 619 GPU. It has up to 402,916 Antutu Benchmarks and 30 % faster GPU performance.
In terms of the memory configuration, the device is coupled with a 6 GB or 8 GB of LPDDR4x RAM and 128 GB of UFS 2.2 internal storage options onboard. The Realme 9 Pro can expand up to 5GB RAM with Dynamic RAM Expansion technology. On the software front, the Realme 9 Pro runs on Realme UI 3.0 Based on Android 12 OS. It also features a liquid cooling system to keep the phone from overheating.

Talking about the battery prowess of the smartphone, the Realme 9 Pro comes backed up by a massive Non-removable, 5,000mAh (typ) capacity battery. The smartphone also comes with a 33 W fast charging support. It has a USB Type-C 2.0 to charge the device.
