Fonepay launches “Superyatra” campaign, win a MacBook AIR, and cashback

Nepal’s leading payment system operator (PSO) Fonepay has launched its new campaign “Fonepay Superyatra” on the occasion of Dashain 2080. Under this plan, customers will stand a chance to win a MacBook AIR upon purchase of airline tickets via a mobile banking app.

The Fonepay Superyatra aims to emphasize the convenience of digital payments while encouraging the usage of mobile banking apps for the purchase of airline tickets.

Digital payment is becoming mainstream for payments however, there still remains a large demography who haven’t resorted to payment on the go. The campaign seeks to instill in smartphone users the reason to use and the benefits of mobile payments.

The Fonepay Superyatra campaign is effective from Ashoj 17 and concludes on Kartik 11 (October 4 to October 28, 2023).

Fonepay involves the use of scanning QR codes for payment. The service is available on mobile banking apps and digital wallets.

With this Superyatra campaign, one lucky winner will win Apple’s MacBook AIR laptop. The winner will be chosen in a lucky draw. Additionally, new Fonepay users can get Rs 200 flat cashback by using the SUPERYATRA200 promo code while paying for flight tickets.

How to participate in the Fonepay Superyatra campaign?

To participate in the Fonepay Superyatra campaign and stand a chance to win hefty perks, follow the steps below:

  • Launch your mobile banking app and log in
  • Go to Fonepay Bills and select Domestic Flights
  • Select your destination and date of flight
  • Now, select Airlines and Flight time
  • Enter the details and “Confirm Flight” and pay for the ticket.

To be eligible for the gift, Fonepay users need to buy an airline ticket within the runtime of this campaign.

Regarding this offer, Fonepay’s Chief Strategy Officer (CSO) Subodh Sharma says, “Our campaign aims to make it more appealing for travelers to opt for mobile banking app when booking airline tickets. Our objective is to bring more and more customers into the digital payment system and a campaign like Superyatra is a step towards that objective”.
