Football World Cup 2026 on NTV Plus
The idea of NTV Plus broadcasting the WC 2026 for free has various benefits. It’s a government channel, and most IPTV providers offer it in HD quality. And since many people have access to the TV channel, the initiative ensures that a maximum number of Nepalese can watch the final match unfold on their TV or smartphones (if they watch via IPTV platforms).
The decision has drawn a fair share of praise, but some sections have also expressed their bemusement. The happy sections have praised the government’s initiative to bring the match for free to every possible TV viewer in the country. But the other section has stated that the government should have made a similar arrangement for more matches.
It’s worth taking note that NTC Plus also aired the third-place play-off between France and England, which the latter won 6 – 4.
