Ntc GSM Postpaid to migrate to new billing system

Nepal Telecom is planning to migrate its GSM postpaid subscribers to the new billing system tonight. For which, Nepal Telecom informs their customers of possible problem in their GSM, CDMA and WiMAX services along with the recharge. The migration will be done in Friday Mid-night and will remain in place till Saturday morning. During that period, Ntc informs public of possible mishap in their services, from their notice in national dailies.

The new billing system is called Convergent real time billing (CRTB) system, with which only prepaid services of mobile are associated now. As the name suggests, the billing system will integrate all of their services from landline, mobile, ADSL and WiMAX. The balance of the customers account will also deduct in real time. But till now, only all CDMA subscribers, GSM prepaid and WiMAX associates with the new billing system.

After the migration of GSM postpaid subscribers, it will be for Landline and ADSL service. With the migration,it is beneficial to the operator for using a single interface for all services. And it is also beneficial to the customers for getting any service from NT counters.

NT will add more services with integration of all of their services in the new billing system. Plus NT will add more beneficial packages to all of their customers like family package, Parental control and many more. Later all of the services will also recharge from a single recharge card. Currently NT recharge card tops up balance in CDMA, GSM prepaid and WiMAX. With the migration it can recharge for GSM postpaid and later for Landline, ADSL too.

NT further adds in the notice that they will close their counter for Saturday. So they will shut down all of their customer services for bill payment, services activation, recharge on that day. If you encounter any problem with their account and service, NT has provided Landline number 014239335 to contact for solution.
