Apple has launched the Apple Watch Ultra, a rugged smartwatch for the first time. Protected by sapphire crystal glass, this new smartwatch is made for outdoor adventures. The American tech giant also unveiled the most awaited iPhone 14 series, Airpods Pro 2, Apple Watch Series 8, and AppleWatch SE at the same event. Design

One of the USPs of this smartwatch has to be its build quality and design. It has a digital crown that is larger than ever before. And the new action button is also raised from the case for glove accessibility usage. While the case is made of natural aluminum, there is also an extra speaker for emergency scenarios that can produce a high-pitched 86-dB siren sound.

Likewise, the new customizable Action button can enable instant access to Compass Waypoints, Backtrack, or Workouts. Being a premium watch, it consists of all of the health tracking features. It has an ECG app that can record your heartbeat and rhythm using the electrical heart sensor. And it also checks the recording for any form of irregular rhythm and sends you health alerts just in case. Likewise, there is sleep tracking with REM, Core, and Deep measurements. Similarly, the Watch Ultra also has a SpO2 monitoring sensor to check the blood oxygen saturation level. It has IP6X dust protection too. Plus it also gets the MIL-STD-810H certification which means it can operate in a wide temperature range

It also becomes the first Apple Watch to use both L1 and L5 GPS. So, the watch will provide the most accurate and precise distance, pace, and route data. While it can cater to up to 18 hours of LTE usage. And one can also prolong the battery life to up to 60 hours by switching it to low power mode as per Apple. It also supports fast charging via a magnetic USB-C cable.

There is an international roaming feature as well. Furthermore, there is a “Backtrack” feature that helps you to get back to the initial location in case of being lost or stranded.
