Dish Home customers can now get their DTH TV subscription for just Rs 100 a month with its latest offer. The parent company Dish Media brought this affordable TV scheme with its “Khusiko Bundle” offer which lets its customers enjoy both high-speed internet and digital TV services.

Dish Home provides DTH TV service as well as fiber internet. The offer brings both internet and entertainment to its customers around Nepal. Dish Media, the parent company of Dish Home provides fiber internet service through its FiberNet and DTH with Dish Home.

In July 2022, the company also launched its IPTV called iTV which is available to customers at affordable rates.

Dish Home TV offer: Rs 100 a month

Customers who install a new Dish Home FiberNet fiber connection can benefit from this offer. Also, existing customers who only have Dish Home TV service can get an internet connection and avail of this affordable TV package.

The offer brings over 200 TV channels to Dish Home subscribers which includes over 60 High-Definition TV channels.

Prior to this, Dish Home’s TV subscription came at a slightly costlier price while they also came in a bundle with the internet service. But the entertainment solution coming at a steal price of just Rs 100 adds a great value to the customers. Internet users in Nepal get IPTV with their internet purchase however, the idea of the cost of TV has been in controversy. Nepal Telecommunication Authority has mandated separate invoices for both Internet and TV too. But many would feel that the cost for both the internet and IPTV are costlier. At this, Dish Home could potentially start a new trend of driving down TV service prices with offers.

Dish Media entered the internet service in 2020. But just in over 2 years, the company has grown steadily growing its base to 2 lakh, 40 thousand, and 668. Recently, the company received an ISO 9001:2015 certification for its broadband internet service.

Being a technophile, I am particularly fascinated by the evolution of mobile networks in Nepal from legacy networks (2G, 3G) to 4G (with VoLTE, VoWiFi, eSIM) and the prospects of the upcoming 5G, and equally enthralled by the development of internet from the dial-up connection to the 2 Gbps XGS-PON fiber broadband technology and their transformative impact in the country.
