Design and Build

The DJI Mini 3 Pro sports a completely new look that is optimized to get more out of every flight. The foldable and compact design makes it very easy to carry around. DJI Mini 3 Pro is a pretty lightweight drone with unique & top-tier features. The dimension of the drone is 251 × 362 × 70 mm when unfolded with the propellers and 145 × 90 × 62 mm when it is folded. The drone weighs less than 249 grams, so DJI Mini 3 Pro doesn’t require registration in most countries and regions.   

In addition, the DJI Mini 3 Pro comes with a DJI RC remote controller.is an improved version of its previous controllers. It has a 5.5-inch display and is integrated with DJI Fly.

Camera Sensor

As for the cameras, the DJI Mini 3 Pro comes with huge improvements & changes compared to its predecessor. It has a large 1/1.3-inch 48 MP camera with a new aperture of f/1.7 and an 82.1° field of view. The drone can shoot 48MP images and record videos in 4K at 60 fps, 4K HDR videos at 30 fps, and slow-motion videos at 120fps in 1080p.

The DJI Mini 3 Pro also supports True Vertical Shooting that gives detailed shots instantly ready for social media. The re-engineered camera gimbal rotates 90°, so you don’t have to compromise on image quality. It offers an extensive range of intelligent features so you can add show-stopping moments and creative flair to any video. Furthermore, the DJI mini 3 Pro camera supports HDR, various JPEG, DNG (RAW) photo formats, and MP4/MOV video formats. And has other features such as a MasterShots, FocusTrack, digital zoom, panorama sphere, 180°, Wide-angle, and more.

Flight

The DJI Mini 3 Pro comes with APAS 4.0 which detects objects in the aircraft’s flight path in real-time and helps to avoid them for flight safety. DJI also mentions it will feature ActiveTrack, a tri-directional obstacle sensing technology. It is the first “Mini” drone to come with DJI’s Tri-Directional Obstacle Sensing. So, it can also be used by amateurs very easily. 

Battery & Connectivity

Talking about the battery of the drone, DJI offers two battery options for DJI Mini 3 Pro. One is the standard Intelligent Flight battery and the other is an intelligent Flight battery plus. The intelligent flight battery includes a 2,453mAh battery which provides a flight time of 34 minutes. It fully charges within just 64 minutes. Whereas, the intelligent flight battery plus offers a larger 3,850mAh battery, which can last up to 47 minutes of flight time. The time taken to fully charge the battery with it is 101 minutes—the drone charges via a DJI 30W USB-C charger port. 

Coming to the connectivity features, DJI Mini 3 Pro has a Wifi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 5.2, 2.400-2.4835 GHz Transmitter Power, etc. The latency between the Aircraft and remote controllers is only 120 ms.
