Gionee has launched yet another smartphone in Nepal. The brand has been on a smartphone launching spree recently. This time a mid-range smartphone dubbed as Gionee M15 has been launched in Nepal. Gionee had made its comeback with the launch of Gionee M100 in Nepal. So now, let us have a detailed look at the specs, availability, and Gionee M15 price in Nepal below.
Gionee M15 is a mid-range smartphone that debuted back in May 2021 in Nigeria. The smartphone boasts a bezel-less punch-hole display, Mediatek Helio G90 SoC, 48MP Camera, 5,100mAh battery, and many more features.
Starting off with the design of the Gionee M15, it comes with a gorgeous stylish design. It has a polycarbonate rear panel and a matte finish. It has menial bezels around the display. The phone features a center-aligned camera cutout that houses the front-facing camera on top of the screen.
Gionee M15 flaunts a large 6.67 inches IPS LCD Full HD+ display panel along with a screen resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels and a standard 60Hz refresh rate. It also has an aspect ratio of 20:9, screen to body ratio of 84.4%, and 395 PPI pixel density. It also features a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner for security.
As for the optical department of the smartphone, Gionee M15 arrives with a quad rear camera setup with a rectangular camera module. It consists of a 48 MP Samsung GM1 sensor as the main camera, a 5 MP ultrawide angle sensor, a 2 MP macro sensor, and a 2 MP depth sensor.
At the front, it houses a 16 MP sensor for the front camera to quench your thirst for selfies. Both the front and rear cameras are capable of recording up to 1080p at 30fps.
As for the performance of the device, Gionee M15 comes powered by the MediaTek Helio G90 chipset. It is an octa-core processor based on a 12 nm process that features two Cortex-A76 that clocks up to 2.05Ghz and six Cortex-A55 CPU cores with a clock speed of 2.0Ghz. For graphics, we have Mali-G76 MC4 GPU. It is attached with 6GB/8GB of RAM along with an internal storage option of 128GB. You also get a storage expansion via a dedicated MicroSD card slot if you feel the need for it.
On the software front, the phone runs on Android 11 OS.
The phone gets its juices from a huge 5,100mAh battery along with an 18 W fast charging support. It charges via a USB Type-C port.
Coming to the connectivity option of the phone, Gionee M15 features a 4G network, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v5.0, VoLTE, GPS, A-GPS, USB Type-C 2.0, USB On-The-Go, 3.5mm Headphone jack, Loud Speakers, etc.

The Gionee M15 is launched in Nepal at the price of Rs. 23,699 for 6GB/128GB variant and Rs. 27,499 for 8GB/128GB variant. It is available for purchase via authorized Gionee stores and retail shops in Nepal. The phone is available in two different colors: Pinkish Blue, and Normcore Grey. it will compete with the likes of Redmi Note 9 Pro, Samsung Galaxy M21, Poco X3, etc. in the Nepalese tech market.

Gionee M15 is an average mid-range smartphone. The smartphone boasts a large display, helio G90 chipset, massive 5,100 mAh battery, etc. But compared to its contemporaries the phone falls far behind them in terms of all-around specs and features. So, it will be very tough for the Gionee M15 to survive in this price segment.
