Ncell Axiata has reduced its local PAYG call tariff, standardizing its per-minute rate to flat Rs. 1.62 excluding taxes (Rs 2.05 with taxes) for both on-net and off-net calls. The company brought its new tariffs on its PAYG voice service from Sunday, January 01, 2023.

The flat rate means that the same charge applies to both on and off-net calls. Having a flat rate means that Ncell users can now make calls from Ncell to any network in Nepal at the same rate. Usually, new operators charge flat rates on their calls so as to attract customers. Compared to other tariffs, flat rates are easier to understand and are preferred by customers too.

Prior to the reduction, the voice call charge from Ncell to any local network (all-net) was Rs 1.99 per minute excluding applicable taxes.

But with the latest implementation of the lowered rate, Ncell customers will be able to make off-net calls to any network at flat Rs 2.05 per minute including taxes. The telco reduced its all-net PAYG tariff by 0.47 paisa per minute as it stood at Rs 2.52 (including taxes) before.

Ncell says that its new flat call rate adds great value to its customers to stay connected. The new lowered rate helps them receive benefits from longer on-net and off-net voice calls without any package. The company says it stays committed to providing great customer experience, making its services more affordable, reliable, and accessible.
