OnePlus 13s price in Nepal

OnePlus has formally launched its new smartphone OnePlus 13S, with some eye-catching specifications. The phone builds on the recent trend of offering compact phones with rich specs. The “S” in the phone’s name stands for “Stronger, Smarter, and Smaller”, and well, the phone rocks a Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, flaunts a 6.32-inch screen, and has a versatile camera with a 2x optical zoom telephoto lens. Here in the post, we take you through all the major features of the phone and give our verdict. Keep reading.

OnePlus 13s Overview

Design and Display

The OnePlus 13s is iconic in design but deviates from its “13” series peers. Especially, its camera bar is not circular but a squircle that houses two cameras vertically. The rest is similar, with the OnePlus logo placed in the middle. There is one all-new Plus Key, too, that can be pushed to unlock AI, camera, and other features. In terms of its overall design, the weight should also be a topic. It weighs just 185 grams despite carrying beefy specs. It’s the most compact and lightest phone in the OnePlus 13 series.

To the display, the phone rocks a compact 6.32-inches LTPO AMOLED screen with a 120 Hz refresh rate and 1600 nits of peak brightness. To compare, the phone’s screen size is much smaller than that of the OnePlus 13 and OnePlus 13R. It also has a resolution of 1216 x 2640 pixels, just short of a standard 2K resolution. The screen is protected by a layer of crystal shield glass. Likewise, the device has an IP65 rating for protection against dust and water.

Performance

The phone packs the flagship Snapdragon 8 Elite processor, a 3nm chipset with up to 4.32 GHz clock speed. The configuration is the same as is on the OnePlus 13. It’s paired with an Adreno 830 GPU to handle the graphics and multitasking with ease. Likewise, the phone comes with 12 GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 256 GB or 512 GB of UFS 4.0 storage. It boots on Android 15-based Oxygen 15 OS.

Camera and Photography

OnePlus 13s camera

The phone features a dual-camera setup consisting of a main 1/1.56-inch Sony LYT-700 50 MP wide camera with OIS and another 50 MP telephoto lens with 2x optical zoom. There’s no ultrawide camera, and some of the smartphone owners would arguably like this exclusion. The front gets a 32 MP selfie camera, which even the OnePlus 13R missed. Both cameras can record 4K videos at 30/60 fps. The optics are assisted by AI capabilities, so you will have AI-backed camera performance with this phone.

Continuing with its exceptional specifications, the model comes with a 5,850mAh battery along with an 80W wired fast-charging support. It also supports 33W PPS, 18W PD, 18W QC charging, as well as 5W reverse wired charging.

Connectivity and other features

The phone connects to up to WiFi 7, which is now mainstream among flagship phones. Likewise, it comes with Bluetooth 6.0, GPS, NFC, infrared port, USB Type-C port, and other standard Android sensors. As for security, you get an under-display fingerprint sensor.

Our verdict: Perfect compact size powerhouse

OnePlus 13s Nepal

OnePlus 13s looks like a comprehensively delightful phone for compact-size phone lovers like me. But what’s so compelling is that the company hasn’t compromised in its hardware specifications. It’s got a flagship chipset, a large battery, and an A-grade display. Some would argue about just having two cameras and no ultrawide, but the existing cameras look capable enough and have a 2x optical zooming capability as well.

The phone jumps on the trend of a side phone focusing on its small size factor and does its best. If you don’t prefer large display phones and rather prefer a powerful handset in a “small” package, it’s certainly a great pick if it launches in Nepal.
