Poco F2 Pro is official in the global market. After the ultimate success of Poco F1, which is the ultimate ‘flagship killer‘, there has been a huge hoot over for the new Poco F2 Pro. Moreover, we have also been getting tons of leaks and rumors from the past month, and there has been huge anticipation for the Poco F2 Pro. Some of the features of the phone include SD865 SoC, 64MP quad-camera, AMOLED display, and 4700 mAH battery. Find more details and price of Poco F2 Pro below.
Primarily, Poco F2 Pro is the rebranded Redmi K30 Pro. Redmi K30 Pro went live in China back in March, and it does also have some slick features. But, that also means there is going to be a straight competition between the two models. Since the Poco F2 Pro is finally official, here is all you have to know about the PocoF2 Pro.
Poco F2 Pro made an entrance with a 6.67″ inches full HD+ AMOLED screen which has a 92.7% body ratio. It comes with 180 Hz of the touch sample rate. Along with that, it has a 360degree ambient light sensor with an eye care sensor and automatic display adjustment feature. With a glass front, aluminum frame, and a glass back and has Gorilla Glass 5 for protection on both sides, Poco F2 Pro is very similar to the Redmi K30 Pro.
Under the hood, the F2 Pro comprises a Snapdragon 865 which comes with the latest ARM A77 cores. It also has LPDDR5 RAM and UFS 3.1. This gives you a very powerful performance. Also, compared to the last years’ Poco F1 it has a 25% overall faster performance and 100% better AI performance along with a 25%-35% update on power efficiency.
Not just that, as compared to the flagship smartphones like Samsung S20+ and OnePlus 8 Pro it scores higher AnTuTu benchmark of 589,983 compared, offers better heat dissipation, bigger battery, and more storage variants.
Moreover, the F2 Pro rocks a quad rear camera setup on the back with a 64 MP main camera, f/2.9, 123 degrees 13 MP ultra-wide, 5 MP telephoto macro, and a 2 MP depth sensor camera. The sensor used is Sony IMX686, with a 1/1.7 inch huge sensor. The camera arrangement in the back has also a great aesthetic value, making it quite distinct.
As for the selfie purpose, it comes with a 20 MP pop-up front camera and also provides an 8k video recording experience.
Also, the Poco F2 Pro gives better battery life, display mode, heat dissipation along with good network and performance, and also comes with TUV Rheinland high gaming performance certification. So, this is one of the best variants for gaming purposes as well.
Furthermore, in terms of connectivity, it supports 5G networks, WiFi 6, and super Bluetooth. It’s Liquid cool technology 2.0. covers 10 main heat areas with the major three components multi-layer graphite, graphene, and a Super Vapour Chamber. Meaning, this will give the smartphone a cool environment in many extreme situations and the excessive use of the device will not over-heat the phone.
In terms of battery, we have a 4,700 mAh battery which supports a 30 W fast charging out of the box, and it will also give 100% of battery life in just 63 minutes. Along with that, it has a USB power delivery and supports quick charge 4+.
In conclusion, some of the other features in the phone are in-display optical fingerprint sensor, IR blaster, NFC, headphone jack, no SD slot, type C 1.0 reversible connector, 5G supported in some regions. It offers four color variants Neon Blue, Cyber Grey, Electric Purple, and Phantom White.
Regarding 5G network support, the phone may not come in some markets where 5G is not available. The 5G spectrum support in this phone is in band n77/n78.
Also, Poco F2 Pro is very similar to the Redmi K30 Pro, so it’s safe to say that Poco is actually the rebadge of K30 Pro with a more affordable storage version along with better refresh rate of 180Hz as well.
In terms of availability, the Poco F2 Pro’s 6GB/128 GB version is up for sale at 499 Euros, while the 8GB/256GB version comes for 599 Euros. Here is the summary of Poco F2 Pro Global price and the Expected one for Nepal.
|S.N||Poco F2 pro phone variant||Global Price||Expected Price in Nepal|

In terms of its availability in Nepal, we don’t know if it will be available anytime soon amid the Corona Virus situation. But we might hear some updates as soon as the lockdown ends. Also, it will first debut in India and although it has 5G connectivity, it might as well come with a no 5G variant in some of the global regions including Nepal.
Considering people’s demand for Poco F1 which is now not in stocks (officially!!) F2 pro has a high probability to make its debut in Nepal. But, since we don’t know the distributor. It will be interesting to see if it will come with Xiaomi’s current distributor or with a completely new one.
