Vivo, the Chinese smartphone maker has been launching recent phones in Nepal like the Vivo Y19, Vivo S1. Now Vivo has launched Vivo S1 Pro in Nepal with the slogan “upgrade your style’’. Vivo S1 Pro has a 6.38-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED display with a resolution of 1080 x 2340 pixels, and an aspect ratio of 19.5:9. The screen has a notch in the top middle to house the front camera. Almost all of the midrange phone supports in-display fingerprint sensor these days, this one is also no exception. The under-display fingerprint scanner is of optical type.
The phone is powered by an Octa-core Snapdragon 665 Processor (11 nm), coupled with 8 GB of RAM. Regarding the internal storage, the phone has a 128 GB memory space with a Micro SD card support, that can expand the storage to 256 GB.
Although the phone has a dual SIM slot, one of the SIM slots can be used as a Micro SD expansion, so it is popularly called a Hybrid SIM slot. The phone runs on Android 9.0 over Funtouch 9.2 UI.
The phone boasts a battery capacity of 4500 mAH which can be charged with 18 W fast charger using a Type C cable and dual-engine system. Vivo S1 Pro weights 186.7 gms which is a little heavier due to the huge battery.
As mentioned above, the phone has a diamond-shaped quad-camera setup in the back with 48 MP main camera. The aperture in the main camera is f/1.8 and has PDAF autofocus. It has a rear flash and several scene modes that it will put itself using AI for a better shot.

Although the phone supports NFC globally, it could be another version here for Nepal as it is of no use here.
When it comes to the 4G LTE band, Vivo S1 works well with 1800 MHz 4G networks that are available with all of the 4G networks (Ntc, Ncell, and Smart). The phone is priced at USD 320 globally which comes at a rough conversion of Rs 37000. There are two different colors of the phone namely: Jazzy Blue and mystic black.
