Nepal’s top Private telco Ncell office at Baneshwor was vandalized Tuesday afternoon by Unionists affiliated to CPN-Maoists. Demanding the reinstatement of workers who were forced to resign from Ncell and Nepal Satellite, the unionist took to Ncell office, Krishna Tower. It is known that some glasses and vehicles were smashed as police intervened. Police detained five persons who were involved in the vandalism.
Unionists affiliated to Baidhya Maoists had already protested in the Ncell Krishna Tower against the management decision for the employee removal and had even vandalized Ncell tower before and threatened to do more of such program if the management does not agree for the reinstatement.
