As an ISP, WordLink first prioritized internet speed and increment for years. Now as technology has expanded, it has bundled NetTv, a Kathmandu-based IPTV service that offers a range of features like video on demand, YouTube streaming, and others. This feature also enables watching YouTube over a non-smart TV.
Worldlink offers its services in three categories – Residential, SME, and SME Solutions. Below is the breakdown of different packages, costs, and more details. The company provides a dual-band 5 GHz router for new connections and also has WiFi 6, Mesh system, and NetTV packages to complete an all-around broadband and TV service for its customers. The ISP has also launched a NetTV Streamz+ subscription, which is NetTV’s upgraded IPTV solution.
WorldLink residential internet packages: 300/250/200 Mbps
WorldLink residential internet packages feature 300/250/200 Mbps plans. Likewise, these packages come with NetTV for your complete home entertainment solution. Whether you are a moderate or heavy user, either of these packages should do well for you.
The lite edition comes with three payment options – 1 month, 3 months, and 12 months. As for the costs, the 200 Mbps internet package costs Rs 1,300 for a month, Rs 3,300 for a 3-month subscription, and Rs 12,600 for an annual subscription. You can also choose a 24-month plan which comes at Rs 17,990.

Likewise, the 250 Mbps WorldLink package comes for you at Rs 1,450 on monthly charges, Rs 3,600 for three months, Rs 13,800 for 12 months, and Rs 19,490 for 24 months. The 300 Mbps package’s price is fixed at Rs 1,550 for monthly renewal, Rs 4,050 for 3 months renewal, and Rs 15,600 for annual activation. You can also choose a 24-month plan 300 Mbps internet package which costs you Rs 22,290.
The packages do have a Fair Usage Policy attached to them and the VAT will be added extra to the corresponding costs of each package. However, a Telecommunications Service Charge (TSC) is included in the Internet Service Charge.
Installation cost
If you install 300 Mbps internet for a year, it costs you Rs 1,000 for in a router rental charge which makes its total installation costs Rs 23,290. But you can also add a primary Nokia Beacon 1.1 with Rs 1,500 in router deposit, as well as a secondary one with the same amount in deposit. You can also choose the same 300 Mbps plan for one year with primary NetTV costing you Rs 3,654 with an option to add more TV subscriptions.
But on a monthly package with NetTV, the 300 Mbps plan comes at Rs 11,050 in total with router rental costing Rs 1,500, a deposit of Rs 1,000, and cable for another Rs 1,000. You can also add a NetTV at Rs 3,221 with a channel charge costing Rs 221 per month.
Likewise, the 200 Mbps WorldLink internet package costs Rs 20,490 in total with a router deposit costing Rs 1,000. You can add Nokia Beacon 1.1 for Rs 1,500 to further strengthen the network in your residence. If you want the 250 Mbps plan with a NetTV for a month package, then it costs Rs 7,950 in total. This consists of router rental of Rs 1,500, router deposit of Rs 1,000, wire of Rs 1,000, and primary NetTV coming in at Rs 3,221 in total.

Installation cost
WorldLink’s 1 Gbps and 600 Mbps packages only require a Rs 500 router (ONU) deposit. There are no installation and drop wire costs included in its first-time installation charges.

Mesh system costs
Similarly, the ISP’s highest-speed package has an additional option for the Mesh system. The 150 Mbps plan for 12 months costs Rs 1,000 for router rental, Rs 500 in router deposit, and Rs 500 for cable totaling Rs 2,000. For 3 months, you only need to pay Rs 2,000 for the router rental, and for 1 month, you need to submit Rs 3,000 for the same router rental. In both packages, Rs 500 each needs to be submitted for a refundable deposit and cable.
Likewise, for the 50 Mbps plan too, you need to pay Rs 2,500 for a router for a monthly package, Rs 2,000 for a three-month package, and Rs 1,000 for a yearly package. Again, in each of these packages, router deposit and cable cost Rs 500.

Like many other ISPs, WorldLink implements a dynamic fair usage policy (FUP) and it is necessary to keep track of your internet usage to avoid speed throttling.
