The much-awaited 2019 flagship from OnePlus, the OnePlus 7 Pro was recently released internationally and now has paved its way onto the Nepali market. Oliz Store, the authorized distributor of OnePlus devices in Nepal, announced that OnePlus 7 Pro is available for purchase.
The OnePlus 7 Pro is a typical 2019 flagship. It features an almost bezel-less and large 6.67-inch display. It has a two-lens rear camera set up along with a moving front facing the camera. The phone uses motors to retract from the phone’s body whenever needed. This design choice has completely eliminated the notch and the front of the device looks very clean.
The display is a Fluid AMOLED panel with a 2k resolution and an unbelievable 90 Hz refresh rate. The phone sports the SnapDragon 855 SoC. The OnePlus 7 Pro runs on Android Pie with OxygenOS on top. This combination of the processor, 90 Hz panel and the ridiculous amounts of RAM is sure to give a smooth and fluid experience to the consumer.
OnePlus boasted the camera abilities of the OnePlus 7 Pro quite a bit during the launch. The device has a 48MP+16MP+8MP rear camera set up. According to various reviews, the camera really is something special and one of the biggest selling points of the device. The rear camera supports the dual-tone, dual-LED flash along with HDR. Details of the rear triple camera are as below:
Moreover, the OnePlus 7 Pro also has an under-display fingerprint sensor like its older brother. Other features include a 4000 mAh battery, Bluetooth 5.0, NFC and 30W Fast Charging support, which OnePlus calls the Warp Charge. Other than these, OnePlus also claim that the devices are water-resistant. The device does not have an official IP rating but OnePlus’ internal testings confirm the water resistance.
The price of OnePlus 7 pro starts at a staggering Rs. 89,900 (83000 for a limited time) for the base 6 GB RAM and 128 GB ROM variant. There are also other two variants each with 8GB+256GB as well as 12GB+256GB configurations. The prices of these variants are Rs. 99,900 and Rs. 109,900 respectively. The Mirror Black and Nebula Blue variants of the device are available in Nepal.
We recommend you to check the latest Oneplus 7T and Oneplus 7T pro before buying Oneplus 7 Pro, as you get Snapdragon 855+ SoC, and Android 10 out of the box.
The price of the OnePlus 7 Pro in Nepal seems to be ridiculously high. While the base variant starts out at $669 internationally, the Nepali audience is being expected to pay around $850 for the same device. We have never got OnePlus devices in Nepal at the price we expect and the OnePlus 7 Pro is no exception. Still, the device is a worthy one and if you can afford to buy it, it would be a great decision. If you want to go for a similar level of performance at an affordable price tag, we recommend going for Redmi K20 Pro.
