Nepal Telecom (NTC) has completed PSTN to FTTH (Fiber Network) migration in Galyang, The operator has also started FTTH service in Karadibajar bringing to the people high-speed internet, voice, and TV service all through a single fiber cable.
“The migration of PSTN to fiber by Nepal Telecom means customers will easily get their preferred high-speed internet. The upgrade also helps form a technology-friendly society,” said Indal Yadav, the company’s Chief of Provincial Directorate Pokhara.
He also shared that the telco will bring its customers closer to technology from rural to urban areas and won’t have issues over the quality of service.
Galyang Municipality Chairman Guru Prasad Bhattarai expressed his similar delight. He said the locals are satisfied with the services by Ntc. Mr. Bhattarai said that the complete FTTH migration will also aid the beauty of the city.

Similarly, Ntc’s office in charge of the Pokhara office, Ravi Manandhar said the FTTH service expansion is improving the quality of life of the people. He also expressed his opinion that the government-backed telco’s services shouldn’t be compared with private operators’ services.
Ntc provides Triple Play service through the single fiber cable. It brings broadband internet (NT Fiber), Voice, and IPTV (NT TV) services via the same fiber optics. The company has accelerated service expansion and upgrades in recent years.
