ICT Award 2023 Top Five Announced: Startup, Product, and Rising Star Innovation

The top five for the ICT Award 2023 have been announced for three categories- Startup, Product, and Rising Star Innovation. The best (winner) will be selected via public voting and a field visit by the jury committee. The top 5 in their respective categories are determined under the ICT Award program, the most prestigious and popular award fair in the technology sector in Nepal.

The best five in Startup ICT Award 2023, Product ICT Award 2023, and Rising Star Innovation ICT Award 2023 categories were announced today by 14 jury members based on highly transparent and fair methodologies.

Top five Startups, Product, and Rising Star Innovation in the ICT Award 2023

The top five startups for this year’s ICT Award comprise Bhojmandu Food Pvt. Ltd., Diyo A.I. Technology Pvt. Ltd., and GG Corporation Pvt. Ltd. (Happy Minds). Likewise, Rasan Technologies Pvt. Ltd. and Yarsa Tech Pvt. Ltd. also made their cut to the prestigious list.

Similarly, the 14 jury members also selected the best 5 products for this year. They are Digi Buzz, Fast Banking, Money Mitra, QuickRPA, and the café racer EV Yatri P1.

Promoting innovation among the ICT enthusiasts of the country, the ICT Award also announced this year’s best 5. The best five Rising Star Innovation candidates are Blanxer, Dreshion, Drishya, Intern Sathi, and Prasta Nepali.

The organizers received over 200 nominations in these three categories of the ICT Award 2023. Earlier, the organizer conducted the Startup and Idea Fest in Kathmandu on Ashoj 19 and 20. The best 12 startups, 13 rising stars, and 14 products participated in the program. The Fest served the participants a glorious opportunity to exhibit their products and startups.

Additionally, the participants also took part in the presentation and speed dating under the grand jury session held on Ashoj 27. Organizers say that a special show will air on Kantipur Television about their presentation, idea, and startup.

The top five will go through public voting for the ultimate ICT Award 2023 prize

The top five nominees in the three categories will go in the pubic voting while the jury committee will visit the office in categories like startups.

Razan Lamsal, the Chairman of the organizing committee said that the winner will be specially honored at the grand finale program on the Poush 06, 2080 (December 22, 2023).

Currently, the selection process for other individual and institutional award categories is also ongoing. The second stage selection process is underway for categories like Professional Excellence, Pioneer, Entrepreneur, Woman Icon, and Nepali Diaspora ICT Award. Likewise, the first stage of the selection process is in the Digital Education, Digital Governance, and Digital Services categories.

Nomination has concluded for the South Asia Startup Award category

The nomination period for the South Asia Startup Award category has concluded and the screening is underway. The organizer added the category to promote tech minds in South Asia. This year, the category received over 60 nominations from 6 different countries. The jury members in this category hail from India, Bangladesh, Pakistan, and Sri Lanka.

Living with ICT has been organizing the ICT Award since 2016 AD. The 8th edition of this prestigious award received over 550 online nominations in 13 categories. This year, the 14 expert jury members and 13 expert advisory committees will select the best for the ultimate award.  

This year, a television show will air with over 25 jury meetings for the selection. Over 10 pre-event campaigns will also align with the awards this year.

The Ministry of Communication and Information Technology (MoCIT), Nepal Government, Information Technology Department, Nepal Telecommunication Authority (NTA), NAST, FNCCI, NAS-IT, and other organizations have collaborated for the ICT Award 2023.
