Ncell Foundation has reached an agreement with ICT Award 2024 to be its “Supported By” partner. The prestigious award promotes Nepal’s tech and innovation and promotes ICT, innovation, startups, and innovative minds and also extends honor to women for their contribution to the industry.
Likewise, the private telco seeks to promote Nepal’s ICT growth and also encourage women in the industry. The company also seeks to work closely with Living with ICT, the organizer of the ICT Awards, to bridge the digital divide.
The grand finale of the 9th edition of the ICT Award 2024 Supported By Ncell Foundation takes place on December 20 at Hyatt Regency Kathmandu. This year, Living with ICT is honoring organizations, startups, and individuals in 14 different categories.

Ncell Partners ICT Award 2024
It’s not an isolated event that Ncell has participated in the country’s most prestigious tech award fair. The private telecom giant participates in the event to honor women with the Ncell Woman Icon ICT Award. This has happened for four years already. This year too, the Ncell Foundation will honor a woman who has made remarkable contributions in the ICT industry. The recipient of the award will also receive a cash prize of Rs 300,000. To recall, Sunaina Ghimire Pandey earned the Ncell Woman Icon ICT Award in 2023.
“We have been working in this sector for a long time to bridge the digital divide. We are delighted to collaborate with the ICT Award, which honors outstanding organizations, startups, and individuals contributing to digital transformation from their respective fields,” said Bishakha Lakshmi Khadka, Head of Corporate Communications and CSR at Ncell.
