Private telco Ncell organized a friendly football match on March 24 to celebrate the Nepal Super League (NSL) which starts on Saturday, March 29. The tournament was played in a seven-a-side format between three teams.

Three teams played a friendly football match at Lainchaur Ground. Nepal Sports Journalists Forum (NSJF) won the tie. The match proved to be a refreshment and a “tone set” for the participants. If you didn’t know, Ncell is also the title sponsor of the NSL.

The friendly match was a seven-a-side system which began with the Ncell Team playing against a team of artists and models led by former national footballer and veteran player Anil Gurung. The Ncell Team won the match 2-1. The final match went between the NSJF Team and Ncell Team as the former won with a score of 2-0.
