Kantipur Max to broadcast Nepal Premier League 2025 on TV

The second season of Nepal Premier League (NPL) 2025 will be broadcast on Kantipur Max HD channel. The TV channel was awarded the rights to broadcast on Saturday, November 16, 2025, as it became the official television broadcast partner for the tournament. This now gives the final shape to NPL’s airing for its second edition.

With this, NPL will be live on Star Sports and Kantipur Max TV channels. For those wanting online streaming, NPL matches will air on Dish Home Go app. The Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN) revised its previous contract just four days before the start of the tournament. Then, the plan was made to broadcast the tournament on a Nepali TV channel.

Nepal Premier League 2025 on Kantipur Max TV HD channel

NPL 2025 will now be shown on Kantipur Max HD (Nepali channel) and on Star Sports (Indian channel). This allows viewers to watch all the NPL 2025 fixtures on TV without having to pay for online streaming on their devices. The only demerit is the ads in between. Except for that, viewers can enjoy the matches in HD quality.

CAN had initially announced a tender on November 04 for linear television broadcast rights for the T20 tournament. But the decision to only issue the right to a foreign channel was criticized by Nepali TV channels. Following this, the cricketing authority had revised its tender. As a result, Kantipur Max won the rights to air the hotly anticipated cricket competition on Nepal TV channel.

NPL 2025 kicks off on November 17 at the TU Cricket Ground in Kirtipur, Kathmandu.
