According to the company, the service was affected after technical problems occurred in the fiber cable of its service provider’s International Private Leased Circuit (IPLC). After the issue emerged, the company released a notice on social media stating that it’s coordinating with the international service provider to resolve the situation as quickly as possible.
Especially, subscribers of the international roaming service have noticed a problem with voice, SMS and outbound data. Users are not able to place calls, send SMS (specially OTP) and use data roaming, affecting thousands of users. It is noticed that the VoWiFi service was also not working in that period.
