Leading private telco Ncell has restored almost all of its mobile sites after the devastating Rasuwa floods. According to the telco, the company has brought back into operation 24 of 27 sites as of Bhadra 14, 2083 (August 30, 2026).
As of now, only three sites remain offline. The company says that two sites of the three have suffered infrastructure damage. One of which is in Nuwakot and the other is in Timure, Rasuwagadhi. Another site is in Rasuwa. The company says that it hasn’t been able to resume the site because the necessary equipment and personnel need to be transported by helicopter. These are the places that have borne the heaviest of the devastation.
Ncell has 78 sites across Rasuwa, Dhading and Nuwakot. As of now, 75 are operational.

As part of its valuable service, Ncell is providing free data and voice to Rasuwa flood victims for two days. The company has also contributed Rs 10 million for rescue, relief, and rehabilitation efforts.
Ncell restores sites after deadly Rasuwa floods
In Nuwakot, Ncell has restored 16 sites. Towers in areas including Han, Kalikasthan, Chortol, Chuli, Battar, Bidur, Duipiple, Taruk, Made Danda, Khadkabhajyang, Mahamandal, Gujretar, Deurali, Battar Bazar, and Piplatar.
Similarly, towers at Khalte, Sunaula Bazar and Bhumi Danda in the Galchhi area of Dhading have also been restored. In Rasuwa, five towers at Kalikasthan, Dhunche, Khalchet Bhanjyang, Goljung and Gatlang are now live and operational.
