Ncell provides free voice, data for three days in Rusuwa-flood affected areas

Ncell has said that it will provide free voice and data services in the areas affected by the Bhotekoshi floods in Rusuwa district on the morning of August 26. Besides, the private telco has also announced that its users can send 100 SMS for three days free of cost.

Ncell users get free resources following the devastating Rasuwa flood

According to Ncell, it provides the following resources for users to stay in contact after the Bhotekoshi flood:

  • Free voice and data for three days
  • 100 SMS for three days

The services come as part of the telco’s service beyond its commercial purposes. The telco has committed to providing services in times of natural disasters for free. According to the telco, the free resources will greatly help the general public stay in contact with their near and dear ones in the time of this natural catastrophe. Government company NTC announced free resources for Bhotekoshi flood-affected people too.

Ncell states that it’s very important to maintain the continuity of communication services in crisis. The company believes that its initiative makes it easier for affected people to reach out to their families and also helps rescue teams in their rescue and search operations.
