Worldlink Communications has donated Rs 1.01 crore to the Prime Minister’s Disaster Relief Fund.
Worldlink’s CEO Keshav Nepal handed over the donation to the Finance Minister Dr. Swarnim Wagle on September 06, 2026. Worldlink has made the donation with the aim of helping in the rescue, relief, and rehabilitation of the affected citizens in this difficult time of disaster.
The ISP doesn’t see the donation as a mere activity in the commercial sector. The company states that it’s a contribution made out of humanity and responsibility towards the nation in need.
The company has provided this donation with the belief that when the citizens of the country are in trouble, they should stand with them even though they are also affected.
WorldLink’s own infrastructure worth Rs 35 lakh was also damaged in the Bhotekoshi flood on August 26. However, the private ISP took quick action and restored the services to ensure connectivity in the crisis times. The company brought back the network in the affected areas in just three days to prevent customers and citizens from being deprived of internet service for a long time.
WorldLink’s contribution to the PM’s Disaster Relief Fund aligns with the emphatic support the government has received from the private sector for the rescue and rehabilitation efforts for the Rasuwa flood victims. The ISP has played its role as part of its Corporate Social Responsibility.
WorldLink is Nepal’s largest ISP with over 11 lakh fiber internet customers. The company holds a bold 30.80% market share in Nepal’s fixed-line internet landscape.
