Xiaomi Nepal has finally launched Xiaomi 15T, its latest upper midrange offering. Successor to the Xiaomi 14T from 2024, the new iteration features improved display, chipset, battery, etc. It should now be one of the best phones to compete in the upper tier of the midrange smartphone segment. Xiaomi 15T Specifications and Features
Xiaomi 15T features more rounded corners compared to its predecessor, Xiaomi 14T. It’s got thinner at 7.5mm and weighs 194 grams. The frames are made of plastic, but the front glass has a layer of Gorilla Glass 7i for protection, and the back panel is glass fiber.
It’s got an IP68-level protection from water and dust. The screen is 6.83 inches compared to Xiaomi 14T’s 6.67-inch. It’s an AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and 3200 nits of peak brightness. Well, the phone is part of the new series that also consists of the Xiaomi 15T Pro. But it has not been included for Nepal launch. Let’s not also forget the Xiaomi 17 Pro Max phones too.

Powered by MediaTek’s Dimensity 9400, it’s capable of handling graphics-intensive games, multitasking, as well as AI functions. It boots on Android 15-based HyperOS 2. Xiaomi Nepal has launched the phone with 12 GB of RAM and 512 GB of storage. It’s a good spec that ensures smooth performance and a decent amount of storage to store lots of HD photos, videos, and other types of files.
Xiaomi 15T shares similar camera specs as its predecessor, but it’s got a slightly larger primary sensor at 1/1.55″ for the 50 MP wide camera. The others are a 50 MP telephoto unit with 2x optical zoom, and the other is a 12 MP ultrawide shooter. The front, likewise, comprises a 32 MP selfie shooter, as in its sibling. Both these cameras can record videos at 4k.

Battery, connectivity, and Others
Xiaomi has brought this phone with a 5500mAh battery, which is an improvement of 500mAh from Xiaomi 14T. But it’s got the same fast-charging capacity of 67W, which is not slow either. Xiaomi claims that the battery charges 100% in 50 minutes. As for connectivity, it supports 5G, Bluetooth 6.0, WiFi 6e, and has an infrared port too.
The phone comes with HyperAI, a naming for Xiaomi’s suite of AI features on smartphones. Speaking of this, the Xiaomi 15T comes with AI Writing, Speech Recognition, Interpreter, Circle to Search, etc.
For security, the phone features an optical under-display fingerprint sensor. It’s got dual-speakers with Dolby Atmos support which ensures premium audio quality. The feature-rich phone is available in black, grey, and rose gold colors.
