RedMagic 12 Pro: Performance and Gaming Features
The RedMagic 12 Pro sources its power from the flagship chipset, Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6, manufactured using TSMC’s 2nm process. The processor features an Oryon CPU architecture with two performance cores and six additional cores, reaching clock speeds of up to 5.0GHz.
It is accompanied by REDMAGIC’s dedicated RedCore R5 gaming chip and G1 display control chip. The RedCore R5 handles gaming enhancements such as frame generation, super resolution, and ray tracing, while the G1 chip manages the high-refresh-rate display.
For memory, the phone comes in 12GB and 16GB LPDDR5X Ultra Pro RAM options, paired with 256GB, 512GB, or 1TB UFS 4.1 Pro storage.
A major highlight is the AquaCore Cooling System 3.0. Unlike conventional smartphone cooling solutions, it combines dual-loop liquid cooling with an advanced vapor chamber, Liquid Metal 4.0, and an integrated 25,500 RPM turbo fan.
