OPPO has launched the Reno 15f smartphone in Nepal. It will launch with the aim of lifting the midrange phone market in the country with its decent specs and reasonable price. OPPO Reno15 f shares a similar design choice to the Reno 15 one. It features an aurora vitality aesthetic design. The OPPO Glow textures change the aurora texture into a breathing display of color in motion to share OPPO’s own words. It’s a matte finish, and the texture only amplifies its vibrant appeal. The back also features a square camera module, which is now becoming a current trend among many OEMs these days. It exhibits the iPhone vibe before iPhone 17. Anyway, the corners are round, so that should make it easy to grip. The brand also claims that the phone is resistant to scratches and smudges, and that’s great to hear.
The phone shares a similar display to its predecessor, the Reno 14f. It has the same compact 6.57-inch screen with an AMOLED panel and 120Hz refresh rate and 1400 nits of peak brightness. The phone is certified IP68/IP69 for protection from water and dust. A layer of Gorilla Glass+ gives the panel even sturdier protection.
Camera
Sharing similarity with its predecessor, it sports a 50 MP camera, an 8 MP ultrawide camera, and a 2 MP macro camera. The improvement is that this one gets a 50 MP selfie camera, up from the 32 MP unit seen on the last model. The phone is equipped with various AI tools such as AI Flash Photography 2.0, AI Portrait Glow, Popout, AI Motion Photo Slow-Mo, AI Motion Photo Eraser, etc., to enhance the photos to your liking.
Performance
OPPO Reno15 f is powered by Snapdragon 6 Gen 1. It consists of 4+4 cores with a maximum clock frequency of 2.2 GHz. The memory includes 12 GB of RAM and 512 GB storage. It boots on ColorOS 16, which is baked on Android 16 OS.

Battery, Connectivity, and Other Features
The phone’s strong point also lies in its 7000mAh battery, which makes it a two-day phone. It’s further aided by an 80W wired charging, which charges 0-100% in 64 minutes, as the company claims. The security is handled by an under-display fingerprint sensor. It supports 5G, Bluetooth 5.1, WiFi 5, and GPS, but misses an infrared port.
