Nepal Telecommunications Authority (NTA) has requested against the use of its official logo. The telco authority has released a notice on its website urging all concerned parties not to use its logo without permission.
In its notice, the authority reminded that it has been using its own logo and stamp since its establishment on Falgun 20, 2054. It’s the only telecom regulator in Nepal established by the government in accordance with the rights in the Telecommunications Act, 2053.

NTA warns against illegitimate use of its logo
In the notice, NTA warned that no one should use NTA’s official logo without its permission and agreement. The authority has warned that it will seek legal action if its request is not complied with.
In Nepal, NTA serves as the regulator for the telco industry. It closely coordinates with the communication ministry and service providers such as telecom operators and internet service providers (ISPs) for services. It monitors whether policies have been breached while providing services. It also issues licenses to service providers, forms telecom policies, and provides approval for service tariffs.
As the sole telco regulator, it is strictly urged to be concerned that individuals and organizations not use/misuse its official logo.
