FonePay is finally integrated into Khalti. With this, the Khalti users will be able to use FonePay’s QR scan payment to pay for their purchases.

Nepal’s leading Payment Service Provider Khalti and the Payment Service Processor FonePay has agreed on a partnership to facilitate digital payment.

On 31st January, FonePay’s CEO Diwas Sapkota, and Khalti’s CEO Binay Khadka signed the agreement papers.

With this agreement, Khaltihas become a new member of FonePay’s network. Following their collaboration, Khlati users will be able to utilize FonePay’s Scan & Pay feature to pay for their services.

Ever since the appointment of Khalti’s new CEO Binay Khadka, the PSP has desired to diversify its payment options. This joint partnership with FonePay is a new milestone in Nepal’s Fin-Tech industry.

Our partnership will reinforce Nepal’s quest for a cashless economy.

Meanwhile, Khalti CEO Khadka shared his own enthusiasm. He said, “The cooperation will not only be useful for FonePay but also benefit over 20 lakh Khalti users directly and more others indirectly. This partnership will make our ecosystem more trustworthy and stronger for future goals. Our objective is common, that is to transform Nepal digital and we are in that direction.”
