But despite its lower price range, it comes with some delightful features such as a compact screen size of 6.5 inches, a powerful processor MediaTek Dimensity 7025, and a massive 6,000mAh battery. Moto G64 design

Motorola’s Moto G64 5G has a familiar Moto design, as you can see on other phones, such as the recently launched Moto G05. This includes a raised camera module, an “M” logo in the middle on the back, and a sleek and minimalistic body. The phone weighs 192 grams and has measurements of 161.6 x 73.8 x 8.9 mm. It comes with an IP52 rating for protection against dust and water. The phone’s body comprises glass for the front and back and plastic for the frames.

In terms of display, the phone sports a compact 6.5-inch IPS LCD screen with a 120 Hz refresh rate for smooth scrolling. It has an FHD+ resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels with a massive 405 ppi density, which means sharper visuals on screen. Likewise, the screen gets its protection from a layer of Corning Gorilla Glass. 

Camera and Photography

Moto G64 features a dual-camera setup on the back, which is led by a 50 MP sensor. The main camera boasts OIS technology for stable photos and videos. Plus, it has a PDAF support for correct focus. The other camera is an 8 MP ultrawide unit with an auto focus feature that enables you to take pictures with a wider field of view. On the front, there’s a 16 MP selfie camera for photos and videos. Both back and front cameras can record videos at 1080p@30fps.

Performance and Storage

Moto G64 is one of the first phones to run on MediaTek Dimensity 7025, which is a 6nm build with eight cores. It has two cores running at up to 2.5 GHz and six others at up to 2.0 GHz. In terms of memory, the phone ships into Nepal with 8 GB and 12 GB of RAM and 128 GB and 256 GB of native storage in 8/128 GB and 12/25 GB combinations. This beefy RAM is one of the best features of this phone. Additionally, the storage can be further extended to up to 1 TB with a shared microSD card slot.

On the software front, the phone runs on Android 14 by default but is upgradable to Android 15.

Battery and Charging

The phone must be commended for its 6,0000mAh battery too. The large battery can easily handle a day of usage, even on heavy usage. This is further accompanied by a 30W TurboPower fast-charging support to save your time. According to the company, the phone charges up to 50% in under 33 minutes. The phone also supports reverse wired charging.

Connectivity and Other Features

Moto G54 connects to 5G network, the fastest commercial available cellular service at the moment. For wireless data, it supports up to dual-band WiFi 5 connectivity. It also supports VoLTE and VoWiFi for HD voice service. Plus, the phone comes with Bluetooth V5.3, USB Type-C 2.0 with OTG support, and all the standard location features and sensors. It has a side-mounted fingerprint sensor for security.
