iPhone 17 Pro Max design

Apple’s iPhone 17 Pro Max and the iPhone 17 Pro alongside iPhone 17 and iPhone Air are now available in Nepal. These two handsets are the Pro models with higher camera configurations and processing power than their other siblings, namely, iPhone 17 and iPhone Air (2025). Let’s check out both Pro models’ features, specs, and official price range in Nepal.

iPhone 17 Pro Max Specifications and Features

Both iPhone 17 Pro Max and iPhone 17 Pro feature a horizontal camera bar stretching across the top back, a major change from iPhone 16 Pro models. They come with aluminum, not titanium, as the previous models did. The 17 Pro Max and 17 Pro are 233 grams and 206 grams heavier, respectively. They have rounded corners, so they should be fine to keep in jeans. These phones are IP68-certified for water and dust protection.

Similarly, the iPhone 17 Pro Max features a 6.9-inch display while the 17 Pro features a 6.3-inch panel. Both use Apple’s LTPO Super Retina XDR OLED panel and boast a 120Hz refresh rate. Their brightness reaches up to 3,000 nits in peak. The other good thing is that they come with an anti-reflective coating. On the front top, there’s a Dynamic Island cutout too.  The display and rear panels are protected by Ceramic Shield 2, which Apple says is 3x more scratch-resistant than before.

Both Pro models run on Apple’s latest A19 Pro chip, which should probably be faster and better able to handle powerful games and multitasking. The new SoC is designed with more Apple Intelligence capabilities in mind, so there shouldn’t be any concern about the processor’s capacity.

Both iPhone 17 Pro models’ storage starts at 256 GB, but the Pro Max comes with an option of up to 2 TB storage. If you are into ultra HD content and like to take lots and lots of ProRes Raw videos, this could be a good option for you.

iPhone 17 Pro Max Cameras

Both iPhone 17 Pro Max and iPhone 17 Pro feature triple-camera setups of 48 MP units for wide, ultrawide, and periscope telephoto cameras. The improvement is in the periscope telephoto one, which has now been beefed up to 48 MP with 4x optical zooming capacity. Both feature an 18 MP selfie camera on the front with OIS support.

Both phones’ cameras can record videos at up to 4k at 120@fps. Likewise, ProRes Raw video tech allows you to take videos without any software enhancement, which gives more flexibility in post-production. You can also use a dual-camera while filming videos.

iPhone 17 Pro Max Battery, Charging, and Other Features

Apple doesn’t officially disclose their iPhones’ batteries, but they should be larger than those on the iPhone 16 Pro Max and iPhone 16 Pro models. Apple says that the batteries in both these phones can be charged to 50% in 20 minutes, which is another improvement from last year’s Pro variants.

Both 17 Pro models support WiFi 7, Bluetooth 6.0, and include USB Type-C 3.2 Gen 2 for charging and file transfers. They come with Face ID for security and no fingerprint sensors. Also know that both these handsets support satellite communication, though that won’t be available in Nepal.

iPhone 17 Pro Max price in Nepal and offer

At the same time, the iPhone 17 Pro price in Nepal is set at Rs 212,999 for the base storage of 256 GB. The 512 GB and 1 TB variants are priced at Rs 251,999 and Rs 291,999.
