Prominent ISP Classic Tech is upgrading its internet speed by up to 650%. This major upgrade will bump up the existing users’ broadband speed from 150 Mbps to 300 Mbps. The Kathmandu-based private ISP has said this upgrade will come for free of charge.
The upgrade will roll out to the existing subscribers without incurring any additional charges. However, the high-speed broadband package will require a 5 GHz Dual-Band router for optimum performance. For this, the customers will have to contact their nearest branch to obtain the device.
Recently, Classic Tech has announced that it is preparing for the launch of a 1 Gbps fiber broadband plan. When it arrives, it will be Nepal’s first-ever internet package to reach the 1 Gbps mark. Now, the ISP has announced that its existing users will have a major upgrade for them too.
Known as TACHYON 1 Gbps, Classic Tech will lead the 1 Gbps broadband revolutions with newer innovations. Along with the mega 1 Gbps plan, the company is introducing WiFi 6 and Tri-Band router to complement its world-class fiber internet package.
The ISP has announced that it is in the final testing phase to launch the ultra-high bandwidth package. When the 1 Gbps internet plan rolls out, it will elevate Classic Tech’s position among the ISPs with distinguishing esteem.
WiFi 6 comes with Smart Connectivity, Beamforming, and Mu-MIMO technologies. These help for improved bandwidth performance of up to 9.6 Mbps, better signal coverage, consistency, and connections across multiple devices.
