Huawei, the Chinese smartphone brand, has launched a new entry-level smartphone: Huawei Y5p in Nepal. The brand is launching phones back to back in the Nepalese tech market. The smartphone was launched first in Romania back in march of 2020. So, let’s know more in detail about the specs, availability, and price of Huawei Y5p in Nepal below.
Huawei Y5p is an entry-level smartphone aimed at the audience who are into budget smartphones. The smartphone features a decent display, average battery prowess, Helio P22 Chipset, and many more.
Huawei Y5p has quite an outdated design compared to other smartphones in this segment. The smartphone has a plastic body and a plastic frame. It has bigger bezels around the display that holds the selfie camera at front.
Huawei Y5p flaunts a 5.45 inches HD+ IPS TFT LCD panel FullView Display with a resolution of 1440 x 720 pixels. It comes with an aspect ratio of 18:9, screen-to-body ratio of 73.8%, and 295 ppi density.
In the optical department, the smartphone sports a single rear camera setup with square camera bump. It includes a 8 MP primary camera with f/2.2 aperture, and a single-LED flash. On the front, Huawei Y5p features a 5 MP Selfie camera with an aperture of f/2.2 that allows you to capture gorgeous and beautiful selfies.
Now moving on to the videography of the smartphone, both the rear and front cameras are capable of recording videos up to [email protected]
Huawei Y5p is powered by an octa-core Mediatek MT6762R Helio P22 chipset. It is a chipset built on a 12 nm FinFET process that clocks a speed up to 2.0GHz. The smartphone is attached with the 2GB of RAM and an internal storage of 32GB. You will be able to expand your storage up to 512GB via a dedicated microSD card slot. The chipset is not so great but for a budget smartphone it is good though you won’t be able to enjoy higher level gaming.
On the software front, the smartphone runs on EMUI 10.1 Based on Android 10. Oh and it lacks Google Mobile services but comes with Huawei’s own Huawei Mobile Service (HMS).
Huawei Y5p is backed up by the average Li-Polymer battery of 3,020mAh Capacity. It comes with a traditional micro-USB port for charging. Sadly the smartphone does not have a fast charging support.
Coming to the connectivity options of the entry-level smartphone, it features Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n, 2.4 GHz, Dual SIM card (Nano), Wi-Fi Direct, hotspot, GPS , AGPS, Glonass, BeiDou, Bluetooth 5.0, microUSB, USB 2.0, FM radio and a 3.5mm Earphone Jack.
