Infinix has officially launched the new Infinix Hot 12i in Nepal. The smartphone is the very first smartphone from the brand’s Infinix Hot 12 series. It is the entry-level budget smartphone from the brand. So, in this article, we will discuss about the specs, features, availability, and Infinix Hot 12i price in Nepal.

Infinix Hot 12i Overview

Design & Display

The smartphone has a very attractive and gorgeous design. Infinix Hot 12i has a plastic build. The phone measures 164.80 x 76.40 x 8.75 mm in dimension and weighs only 190 grams. It has a waterdrop notch display to house the selfie camera on the front. 

Infinix Hot 12i flexes a large 6.6 inches HD+ Super Bright IPS LCD display along with a screen resolution of 1612 x 720 pixels and a 60Hz refresh rate. It also comes with a 20:9 aspect ratio, 83.1 % screen-to-body ratio, 480 nits peak screen brightness, 267 PPI density, etc. For biometrics, there is a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor and a FaceUnlock.  

Performance

The smartphone rocks the MediaTek Helio A22 chipset. It is a quad-core chipset based on 16 nm processing technology that clocks up to 2.0GHz. The graphic is handled by the PowerVR GE8320 GPU. The company should have included a higher chipset but still, it is good enough for an entry-level smartphone. 

In terms of memory configuration, it is coupled with 4GB of RAM and offers 64GB of internal storage onboard. It also has Up to 7GB of Extended RAM. Likewise, you can also expand your memory to 512GB via a dedicated MicroSD card slot. The smartphone is running on Android 11 OS with XOS 7.6 UI on top. It also has Cinematic DTS Audio Processing for sound improvement and loudness. 

Camera

Diving into the optical features of the smartphone, the Infinix Hot 12i sports a triple camera array at the rear. It is led by a 13 MP primary camera with f/1.8 aperture further accompanied by a pair of auxiliary sensors and an LED flash

While on the front, the smartphone houses an 8 MP selfie camera for selfies and videos. On the videography aspect, both front and rear cameras record videos at [email protected]. 

Battery And Connectivity

The Infinix Hot 12i boasts a huge 5,000mAh battery along with the 10W standard charging support. Infinix claims to provide up to 50 hrs of music, 34 hrs of calling, 13 hrs of gaming, and up to 62 days of standby time. It also arrives with a 25% comprehensive battery life increase and with 8 main battery-preserving settings. The phone charges via a USB Type-C port.   

As for the connectivity options, Infinix Hot 12i comes with a 4G network, Dual SIM (Nano-SIM, dual stand-by), Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, dual-band, hotspot, Bluetooth, A2DP, LE, GPS, A-GPS, FM radio, a micro USB port, Loudspeaker, 3.5mm headphone jack,  etc.

It is an entry-level budget smartphone. The Infinix Hot 12i comes with a 6.6-inch HD+ Display, 13 MP triple cameras, a massive 5000mAh battery, and more. The phone is fueled by the MediaTek Helio A22 SoC, which is pretty powerful. But it would have been better if it housed a more impressive SoC. So, overall it is an average budget phone from the brand.
