Ntc enables fiber package change, NTTV in Demand registration

Ntc FTTH Fiber internet

Nepal Telecom has enabled fiber package changing and new NTTV subscription via the demand registration (198) of its Fiber net service (aka FTTH). The telco is currently expanding its fiber network across the country, as per the demand of the people. But there seems to be some gap in fulfilling the demand. So, they have come up with this fiber demand registration which makes it easy for the customers.

The registration of the fiber internet service all over the country began on Asar 11, 2080. With this, you can provide your location and the type of service you are looking for, in advance to enter the demand. Similarly, in Shrawan, 2081, you can change the fiber package simply by calling the number.

Upon the arrival of the demand from the customers, Nepal Telecom will install the FTTH line, change the package, or add NTTV. In case, the Ntc’s fiber network is not available in that place, the company says it will build the required infrastructure and provide the service later.

How to register Ntc fiber net demand for your place?

To register your demand for Nepal Telecom fiber net, you need to

  • Call 198 on your phone and press 1 after receiving the announcement.
  • Then you can get further information or will be able to register your fiber network demand via a customer representative.
  • As 198 is a toll-free number, the call made to 198 is free of charge.
  • You can also change the fiber packages by calling that number. Further, adding an NTTV subscription based on A’la carte for the Basic and Premium pack has become easy now.

Nepal Telecom has around 2.93 lakh fiber customers (as per NTA report) and builds its customer base with one wire, triple play service. You can get telephone service, high-speed internet, and IPTV service, from a single wire to your home or office. Likewise, Ntc also provides free mobile data (600MB to 1GB per day) on the subscription of yearly fiber packages.

Recently Ntc has revised several packages with speed above 50 Mbps which is getting very popular among the people. So, with the requirement for people to change the packages, Ntc has made this provision for the benefit of the customers. So now customers do not need to visit the Nepal Telecom counter, saving their valuable time and labor.

In case, you are in a remote area where fiber is difficult to reach, you can check Namaste Wifi Wireless internet via 4G router.

Please tell us what you think of Ntc fiber net demand registration and its effectiveness in evaluating people’s demand for the fiber net service at your place. Further, let us know your thoughts on the latest addition of package change and NTTV addition in the existing fiber.
