Here are quick steps to check the weather conditions on the government-made Nepal Weather Official app:
- Install and open the Nepal Weather Official app on your phone
- You can see the current temperature, Air Quality Index (AQI), and humidity levels
- Tap on the interface to see Astronomical details (sunrise, day length, and sunset), hourly weather change updates, etc.

Issues that need improvement
But despite its simple and effective user interface, there are some improvements to be made. When I tried to change the city, the city’s name did show up, but it couldn’t load the weather result. As a workaround, I turned on the GPS and deleted all the data of the app from the settings. Next, I launched the app, it showed my desired city’s weather update.
Likewise, the country forecast and weekly forecast are still unavailable. Also, the official bulletin is great if it’s available all the time. The other major problem right now is that the app frequently shows ‘Could not load weather screen’. But the app has just been launched, so it might get those improvements pretty soon.
