NepMeds has launched its mobile app with the same name to provide online health services. The mobile app seeks to provide efficient and accessible health services to smartphone users.
The app combines various health-related services that are convenient for mobile phone users to avail at their convenience. You can buy various medicines from its “Pharmacy” feature in the app. Similarly, you can access a gamut of health and lifestyle, and information about different types of viruses and diseases from the “Health Library” which you can find from the “Menu” option.
Soon, the app will also have a feature that will allow users to consult with doctors online. Pathology service is also to be added soon, as per NepMeds founder Kedar Chaulagain.

NepMeds is an online “store” of medicine
Nepmeds Pvt. Ltd. is a prominent online pharmacy service provider in Nepal. The company provides its online service on this page where over 10,000 products from 500 brands are available to buy.
The NepMeds app will only enhance the digital reach for smartphone users. The company says the app will provide medicines, health products, information, consultations, vaccination, and other services.
The app is now available in the Google play store and launching soon on iOS iPhones.
In recent months, telehealth and telemedicine have become very popular. Various government bodies, hospitals, and private companies (with their CSR initiatives) have started online health services. Covid-19 has helped realize the value of online services and the health sector cannot be exempt from it.

Simple yet effective
Thanks to its simple user interface, I found the app to be feature-rich and easy to use. I didn’t need an account to use the app, and won’t for you either. On the home screen, products are placed on display under various headings. The bottom tabs let you access Cart, Profile, and Menu. From the top left three bars, you can see all the product categories. From medicines to lifestyle to various health-related information, you get them all inside the app.
I also liked the inclusion of the Body Mass Index (BMI) feature in it which lets you see if your weight is considered “fit enough” for your age and height. Thankfully, I was fine at it.
And after the online consultation feature comes into it, it will serve as another compelling reason to use it. The NepMeds app is designed in such as way that anyone with an essential smartphone experience can benefit from it to the fullest.
