Samsung has announced the new entry-level budget smartphone. The brand has launched the Samsung Galaxy A3 Core smartphone in South Africa. Samsung Galaxy A3 Core is an entry-level budget smartphone that is the successor to the Samsung Galaxy A2 Core. It might also arrive in Nepal very soon. The smartphone boasts specs & features like a 5.3-inch HD+ display, 8 MP Rear camera, 3000mAh battery, and more. Starting off with the design, the smartphone comes with an eye-catching stripe design on the outside. It has a slim body that fits the big battery seamlessly inside the 8.6 mm thick device. The smartphone has a textured polycarbonate backplate and it weighs only 150 gm. It also has a waterdrop notch at the front for the selfie camera.
Samsung Galaxy A3 Core features a 5.3-inch HD+ PLS TFT LCD display panel along with a screen resolution of 1480 x 720 pixels and a 16:9 aspect ratio. Sadly, we don’t get a fingerprint sensor on the phone. The phone is available in different color options Black, blue and red.
Turning our attention to the camera department, Samsung Galaxy A3 Core arrives with a single rear camera setup. It consists of a single 8 MP primary camera with f/2.2 aperture, and LED flash. While on the front, it houses a 5 MP selfie camera along with an f/2.4 aperture to capture your beautiful pictures.
On the videography aspect of the smartphone, both the rear and front cameras are capable of recording videos at 1080P @ 30fps.
As for the performance of the device, Samsung Galaxy A3 Core is powered by a 1.5GHz quad-core processor. It is attached with 1GB RAM and 16GB of internal storage onboard. You can also expand your storage up to 512GB via a dedicated MicroSD card slot.
On the software front, Samsung Galaxy A3 Core runs on Android Go based on Android 10.
Samsung Galaxy A3 Core gets its juices from an average 3,000mAh battery. The brand claims that it lasts up to 14 hours of Internet Usage Time, up to 11 hours of Video Playback Time, up to 70 hours of Audio Playback Time, and up to 17 hours of talk time. It charges via a MicroUSB port.
Talking about the connectivity options, it features 4G network, Dual SIM (Nano-SIM, dual stand-by), Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, dual-band, Wi-Fi Direct, hotspot, GPS, Glonass, Bluetooth 5.0, A2DP, LE, FM radio, Smart Switch (PC version), Micro USB (USB 2.0), Loudspeaker, a 3.5mm headphone jack, etc.

Samsung Galaxy A3 Core is launched at the price of ₦32,500 for the 1GB/16GB variant in Nigeria. The smartphone is available for purchase in Official Samsung Stores, and across all other retail stores in Nigeria.
