Design/Display
Starting off with the design, the smartphone comes with an eye-catching stripe design on the outside. It has a slim body that fits the big battery seamlessly inside the 8.6 mm thick device. The smartphone has a textured polycarbonate backplate and it weighs only 150 gm. It also has a waterdrop notch at the front for the selfie camera.
Samsung Galaxy A3 Core features a 5.3-inch HD+ PLS TFT LCD display panel along with a screen resolution of 1480 x 720 pixels and a 16:9 aspect ratio. Sadly, we don’t get a fingerprint sensor on the phone. The phone is available in different color options Black, blue and red.
Camera
Turning our attention to the camera department, Samsung Galaxy A3 Core arrives with a single rear camera setup. It consists of a single 8 MP primary camera with f/2.2 aperture, and LED flash. While on the front, it houses a 5 MP selfie camera along with an f/2.4 aperture to capture your beautiful pictures.
On the videography aspect of the smartphone, both the rear and front cameras are capable of recording videos at 1080P @ 30fps.
Performance
As for the performance of the device, Samsung Galaxy A3 Core is powered by a 1.5GHz quad-core processor. It is attached with 1GB RAM and 16GB of internal storage onboard. You can also expand your storage up to 512GB via a dedicated MicroSD card slot.
On the software front, Samsung Galaxy A3 Core runs on Android Go based on Android 10.
