With the release approaching closer for 2024’s first and one of the greatest smartphone Samsung Galaxy S24, so is the rumors and news regarding its feature and price. However, the model may be set to miss out on a crucial spec that everyone expected to be there. As per rumors, Samsung may not bring satellite connectivity feature on Galaxy S24 smartphones.

As per ETNews reports coming in that Samsung Galaxy S24 series would be launched sooner than expected. That gives a high chance to the Galaxy Unpacked event happening early to mid-January in 2024. This event will see the launch of Samsung Galaxy S24, Galaxy S24 Plus, and Galaxy S24 Ultra. As you are aware, around a 12-month period has been filled with speculations about Galaxy S24 features. The possibility of satellite service in Galaxy S24 is one of the most anticipated so far. It’s also very reasonable as the feature was already in news for the last year’s Samsung Galaxy S23 lineups. Also, because, in February 2023, Samsung announced a two-way NTN satellite connectivity that would allow smartphone an access to satellite communication. But even now, the upcoming generation of Samsung’s premium phones will skip this hotly anticipated feature.

Apple launched Emergency SOS feature on iPhone 14 and continued with the iPhone 15 series. Samsung though seems not to follow the suit again, unlike iPhones.

About Samsung Galaxy S24 series launch date and satellite feature

The Samsung Galaxy S24 series will come with up to 200 MP camera, Galaxy AI, AMOLED display panel etc. On the power front, the series will feature Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip (in the US and Canada) and Exynos 2400 in other region. Who knows if they could use the SD Gen 3 in S24 Ultra for the whole world!! Likewise, it will have a 120 Hz refresh rate, at least 8 GB of RAM, and 128 GB of starting ROM. While Samsung hasn’t officially announced, it’s likely that the Galaxy S24 will be unveiled on January 17th, 2024.
