The SmartThings Station is easy to use, affordable and comes with a fast-charging pad.

The gadget allows the connection of multiple devices thanks to its interoperability. It is user-friendly too with quick setup and compatibility with a range of smart home products, including ‘Matter’ devices.

The SmartThings Station enables users to automate a number of their home environments and set routines helping them with their day-to-day activities and reducing their energy waste by making it easy to turn off the lights.

“Having a smarter home shouldn’t be complicated or expensive. So, we wanted to create SmartThings Station as a simple, reliable, and expandable smart home hub,” said Jaeyeon Jung, Executive Vice President and Head of SmartThings, Device Platform Center at Samsung Electronics. “The number of devices in a connected home continues to grow, especially in light of the recent Matter standard launch. We’re proud to play a role in making it easier to embrace this exciting technology.”

SmartThings Station is interoperable. It makes it easy to find missing devices, helps set a routine for bedtime, and TV watching, and has fast-charging support. Let’s find out the key features of the SmartThings Station by Samsung.

The SmartThings Station is easy to configure. Right after powering the device, messages will show up on users’ Galaxy smartphones to connect and learn its use.

Upon powering the device for the first time, messages tell users what to do with the connection process on the smartphone.

Adaptive to daily routines

The SmartThings Station allows for several types of devices to connect. Thermostats, lightning and power outlets connect with other devices which connect to the smart home server. Besides, users can all work together and can provide an enhanced connected environment.

SmartThings Station can be easily set up to automate routines that are created via the SmartThings mobile app without requiring users to control individual devices manually.

Set routines for bedtime, watching TV, gaming mode, etc.

The Smart Button on the SmartThings Station can activate a routine created on the SmartThings app. Users can set a routine for bed, and also start a routine for sleep that turns off the lights, shuts the blinds, and dim the lights.
