Tecno Spark 40 Pro has been launched in Nepal, offering buyers a nice-looking phone with decent specs at a budget price. The phone’s best-selling point is its lovely, minimalistic design and battery and charging support. We have more details below.

Tecno Spark 40 Pro Overview

Design and Display

Tecno Spark 40 Pro has a sleek and minimalistic design approach. The device is tall at about 164 mm and has a width of 76 mm. The dual-tone matte finish on the back gives it a premium feel, while the pronounced vertical camera setup gives it an even better appeal. Likewise, the round edges help with a comfortable grip in the hands.

The screen is a large 6.78-inch one with AMOLED technology. The model boasts a 144 Hz refresh rate and up to 4500 nits of peak brightness, which is an exclusive spec of flagship phones. The panel is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 7i.

Performance and Storage

The phone runs on the MediaTek Helio G100 chipset. As you can guess, it’s a midrange phone, so the chipset is a 6nm silicon. It’s got eight cores with up to 2.2 GHz clock speed. The greater thing here is that the phone uses 8 GB of RAM, while storage has two options: 128 GB and 256 GB. The phone boots on HIOS 15.1 based on Android 15.

Camera and Photography

Tecno Spark 40 Pro features a single 50 MP camera backed by an auxiliary lens on the back and a 13 MP selfie camera on the front. AI capabilities help enhance the photography even further. It’s not a high-capacity camera, should do the job just fine, though night photos will leave a bit wanting more.

Battery, Connectivity, and Other Features

The phone carries a 5200mAh battery, which is complemented by 45w wired and 10W reverse wired charging. This versatility is usually exclusive to premium phones, though it’s changing more these days. You can use reverse charging to fuel up other gadgets, such as wearables. For connectivity, the phone supports 4G, WiFi 5, GSP, Bluetooth 5.3, etc. It’s also got an infrared port, while USB Type-C 2.0 is given for file transfer and charging.

In a price-sensitive smartphone market of Nepal, Tecno Spark 40 Pro is a proper mid-range phone for its price. But the phone’s focus here is not on raw power but on display, display size, and battery. So, you are not going to expect best-in-class photography and elite gaming; however, you get a phone that gives you smooth functionality and excellent battery efficiency. But if you prefer 5G connectivity, then here are the best 5G phones in Nepal in different price ranges.
