Vivo has launched the new Vivo Y55 smartphone in Nepal. The smartphone boasts impressive specs & features like a 6.44-inch AMOLED display, Snapdragon 680 processor, 50 MP triple cameras, 44W fast charging, etc. In this article, we will discuss about the specifications, features, availability, and Vivo Y55 price in Nepal below.

As for the design of the Vivo Y55 4G, the smartphone arrives with a beautiful design. It has a premium feel from the first touch and glance. The Vivo Y55 measures 160.80 x 73.79 x 8.42 mm and weighs only 182 grams. The 3D covers at the back offers comfortable touch and snug grip. There is also a waterdrop notch at the front that houses the selfie camera. The smartphone comes in various colors such as Midnight Galaxy, and Ice Dawn.
Upfront, the Vivo Y55 features a large 6.44 inches Full HD+ AMOLED Display panel along with a 1080 x 2400 pixels screen resolution. It also supports a 180 Hz touch sampling rate, 20:9 aspect ratio, 408 PPI density, 100% DCI-P3 color gamut, and more. For biometrics security, it features an Face Unlock and in-display optical fingerprint scanner.
Under the hood, the smartphone is equipped with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 processor. It is an octa-core processor based on 6 nm processing technology that is equipped with an octa-core CPU with a maximum clock speed of up to 2.4 GHz. Likewise, the graphics of the phone is handled by the Adreno 610 GPU. The SoC brings a 20 % increase in CPU performance and a 10 % increase in GPU performance.
In terms of memory configuration, it is coupled with 8GB of RAM and offers 128GB UFS 2.2 internal storage onboard. You can expand your memory via a dedicated microSD card slot. The phone is running on Funtouch OS 12 based on Android 12 OS on the software front.
As for the optics of the phone, the Vivo Y55 4G sports a triple camera setup at the rear. The 50 MP leads with its f/1.8 aperture primary sensor, a 2 MP macro camera with f/2.4 aperture, and a 2 MP depth sensor with f/2.4 aperture. Whereas on the front, the smartphone houses a 16 MP camera with f/2.0 aperture for selfies & videos.
Moving on to the videography aspect of the smartphone, both the rear camera and front cameras are capable of recording videos up to [email protected].
Coming to the battery life of the smartphone, the Vivo Y55 boasts a huge non-removable 5,000mAh battery. The smartphone also comes with the 44 W fast charging technology as well. The brand claims that the gadget charges from 0 to 100 % in only just 28 minutes. It offers up to 18 hours of YouTube streaming and 10 hours of PUBG gaming.
